The holiday tradition is back! Every year, the Edison and Ford Edison and Ford Winter Estates are lit up with thousands of lights and hundreds of historic decorations—making for one memorable evening for those who come out to enjoy a festive event. Holiday Lights starts on Friday, November 29, at 5:30 pm with a special tree lighting ceremony, and ends on January 5, 2025, at 9 pm.

Although the event is now in its 49th year, there’s something new to see each year.

“We add more lights and make changes so the site looks different from year to year. This year, we’re bringing back the science show, which will be on Wednesday nights from 6 to 8 pm. Families will have an opportunity to learn about the diffraction of holiday lights, the chemistry of slime, and how to drive a robot,” says Lisa Wilson, Marketing & PR Director.

In addition, the Children’s Holiday Tree Trail—with 50 decorated trees covered in handmade ornaments created by students from local Lee County schools—is a must-see! Also, fun is shopping in the free-of-admission Museum Store and Garden Shoppe for unique holiday gifts—until 9 pm during the event. On select nights, refreshments will be available for purchase, and there will be Santa visits, carolers, and other musical talents! Check the online calendar of events for details at edisonfordwinterestates.org/calendar.

General admission for Holiday Lights is $20 for adults, $10 for teens, and $2 for children ages six-12. Children ages five and under are admitted free with paid adult. General admission is sold on an unlimited basis nightly. Edison Ford members are admitted free of charge for general admission. On Monday nights, Lee County residents with identification will receive $5 off regular-priced Holiday Nights admission. Holiday Nights admission tickets may be purchased online or at the ticket office. Reservations are unnecessary for general admission; just show e-ticket(s) upon arrival.

Nightly guided tours are available at 6 and 7 pm. The tour tickets are sold daily at the ticket office on a first-come/first-served on the day of the tour only. Tour tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for teens, and $18 for children ages 6-12. Inside-the-Homes tours will be offered on December 4, 11, and 18 at 6:30 pm for $50 per person. Combo tickets, available for $10 more, are available to guests visiting during the day and staying later that same day for Holiday Nights. Combo tickets can be added when purchasing daytime tickets or later that day with ticket receipts. Discounts, coupons, or reciprocal benefits do not apply for Holiday Nights admissions. The lab and museum are closed in the evening.

Holiday Nights takes place from November 29 through December 23 and December 26 through January 5 from 5:30 till 9 pm. (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). To purchase tickets or view the nightly schedule, visit the website.
