Matanzas on the Bay on Fort Myers Beach is pleased to announce its first-ever craft beer event, “Matanzas Craft Beer Fest on the Bay,” on tap from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10. Bringing local breweries, musicians and cuisine to Matanzas on the Bay’s waterfront setting along the back bay of Fort Myers Beach, the fundraising event will benefit Operation Open Arms, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the care and treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in military personnel. The show will go on rain or shine, and should weather require, live performances will be moved to Petey’s Upper Deck, the restaurant’s upstairs sports bar. Guests can also participate in several prize drawings, with proceeds also benefiting Operation Open Arms. Tickets for Matanzas Craft Beer Fest on the Bay are available for $50, and includes access to craft beer, food and music. Advance ticket purchases can be made at the restaurant or online at www.MatanzasontheBay.com and can also be purchased on-site the day of event.
